Looking for vegetarian keto diet information

I have slowly moved to a vegetarian diet-I eat cheese, eggs, milk, tuna & occasional salmon. I am also aware that my go to curries are based on sweet potatoes, chick peas and lentils; tasty in a coconut milk base, but still higher in carbs then I'd like. I'm looking for info regarding a vegetarian based keto diet. Some websites are 'yeah tofu is okay', others are 'no tofu'.

Thanks for input and guidance.

I will cross post this to Cooking & Baking & Vegetarian, Vegan and Animal Rights groups.

1. I believe Dr Mark Hyman and Dr Joseph Mercola advocate a keto diet

that is very vegetarian with small amounts (3-4 ounces) of animal protein, upping your nuts and seeds (by for example using cashew butter/milk to get creamy sauces.) I don't remember where they're at re tofu but I think they say it's ok if it's non GMO.
