Has anyone here tried the Easyway method of stopping smoking?

It was recommended to me years ago, but I of course just ignored it.

It gets incredibly positive reviews. There is a book or you can opt for a webinar or seminar.

I have just started the book and I am feeling pretty positive, which is not what I ever expect when I start to think about stopping.

It's the kind of "stick it to the man" philosophy that really is appealing to me.

Anyone have any experience?

1. Not with that. I read a bunch of books, took courses, etc., and finally put it all

together. Not sure Easyway was around 20 years ago. It might well be the secret of success for you.

Good luck. It's tough, but it does feel good to kick it to the curb.

2. I hope to find some mentors and support here, though it looks

like a slow moving group.

Just received some medical news that really gives me no choice.

37 year smoker and I really do feel ready to quit.

Nice seeing you, Hoyt.

6. Sorry I haven't seen this until now

Hoyt is onto a way to quit smoking that has working for a great many people. If you want the book - you can find it on Amazon for 10 bucks and change

http://www.amazon.com/Allen-Carrs-Easy-Stop-Smoking/dp/0615482155/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406079096&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=eazyway

there is also (of course) and iPad - iPhone app of an audio version of the book.

No one who has listened for years about how hard it is to quit - will believe that it is more myth than real - until you get the facts from the book and start to believe that you want this and can do this and ain't nothing going to stop you.

I've been a non-smoker for three years. I've never looked back.

You got this!

7. I did buy that book and have not smoked since I read the last chapter.

It has been over a month now, after a 37 year habit. The book is like nothing else I have ever seen and I don't think that I will ever smoke again.

Not that it is always easy. I still have a rough time, particularly when I am around smokers, but the thought of picking one up is not even an option for me.

Thanks for the input!

4. Huge congratulations!

I also smoked my last cigarette while reading the last chapter. I doused the pack I had left with water and I was done.

It's only been 2 weeks for me, but I'm feeling really positive about it. This is the first approach that has ever worked for me and I am so glad that I didn't go the nicotine substitute route.
