1. When you find that place in your heart where you feel most safe. And stay there awhile.

Stay there for awhile. That is your source of protection, and there is your strength to step forward & give aid to another who is afraid.

2. Thank you.

I need to get back to this. Iíve been too wrapped up in the Trump drama lately and of course it makes me stressed.

4. Meditation keeps me sane, especially in this time

I have been doing some sort of meditation for about 50 years. It is one of the most difficult, "easy" things I have ever done. Progress not perfection. Monkey mind is still a challenge. I had an EEG years ago and the EEG tech said I had a very stable brain waves what ever that meant..
For me the trick is to "just do it". Too easy to skip my am/pm meditation... I also find I need less sleep as meditation takes you deeper than sleep. I highly recommend the book
"The relaxation response " by Harvard Professor Herbert Benson. He set out to prove meditation was fake and became a believer. The capper was that it was proven that meditation actually changes the brain structure and gray matter........ for the better!! YMMV
