But there are really great people there. So I'm loving my new life.

2. That's really important, finding meetings that resonate with you.

I have several favorites, as well. I also particularly like those where I've gotten to know people. There is one long timer who always starts out with the words "Hello, family... "

6. Oh, that is wonderful!

They really are special when they keep coming back! My home group has a few with 30-years-plus and I used to celebrate with a woman who had over 40, but she moved to Florida. *sigh* My job is ordering the coins for that group and last year I had the honor of presenting a coin to a woman with 50 years! And she actually knew Bill W! She got sober in New York City in the '60s. Her sobriety date is March 27th, so I already got her a 51-year coin - I sure hope she's able to come to get it.

12. Thanks so much.

I get to reshape my life. Always an open invitation to jam if you head out this way. Hearing from you means a lot to me. Thanks.

9. I find meetings resonate more when I want to be there

Not trying to get deep or philosophical, just saying willingness goes a long way. Step Zero as they say.

Glad you found s good one.

11. I get jazzed the day of my meetings.

I'd be there daily but transportation is an issue. I usually walk home from meetings and take the time to absorb and process.
