...Brilliant film-making, coupled with terrific performances and awesome story-telling.

Highly recommended, but it takes a few episodes to really set the hook...

I really enjoyed it. That being said I can see it is not for everyone. I don't mind the fact that books change often in TV or movies as I feel that sometimes it just doesn't work to have the book done exactly as written. Stephen King books come to mind.
