Cult of the Damned

If you're afraid your life may be too long by about an hour and a half, this is a must-see movie for you. You'll wonder where that chunk of your life went, but you won't want to live it over again.

Seriously, when you get to that point where you really have nothing better to do, and my God how long a list that must be, then you'll enjoy this film.

Jennifer Jones (Gregory Peck's wife in Man In The Grey Flannel Suit) manages to find out just what it means for an actress to reach age 50 in the Hollywood of the late 1960's without having stayed on the A-list.

It's a weird, retro, Clockwork Orange set in 1969, and with Roddy McDowell as second fiddle to our hero, a genetic lab accident involving Jim Morrison and Charles Manson.

When you hear people complaining about hippies, they are talking about the ones in this film. You will too by the time this public safety message which serves as a stark warning to film directors and producers to lay off the LSD, is done.
