Your thoughts on Paramount+
I bought a subscription a couple of weeks ago and started watching Star Trek Discovery. I've since finished that series and Star Trek Picard. I've watched a few episodes of Frasier.
The 10 bucks was well spent for the Star Trek series, but I'm not really finding anything else worth watching and I plan to cancel my subscription.
I believe I've seen a positive post about Paramount+ at some point, and am wondering if I'm missing something?

(105,627 posts)sold streaming rights (to the current three seasons) to Peacock. So, even though I get a zillion emails to try Paramount plus, I'm not too tempted.
Binkie The Clown
(7,911 posts)after the current season of NCIS was over I quickly ran out of things I really wanted to watch, so I cancelled.
Zorro
(16,154 posts)Lots of other stuff there that's of less interest to me.
Midnight Writer
(22,813 posts)These episodes were cut down from their original length to accommodate more commercials in re-runs.
The originals run a few minutes longer.

(18,715 posts)there's something like 5 different shows/seasons in production - Discovery, Picard, two animated shows (Lower Decks and the Nickelodeon one) and the new Captain Pike series

(658 posts)I'm interested in the Pike series as well, so I'll re-subscribe to watch it, but I'm afraid that they've missed the boat with their streaming service. While they have content, not much else interests me enough to pay 10 bucks a month for it. It's a shame really.
