1. I really liked the book but....

as I thought, it would be difficult to make into a show.....I found it......off

2. I have a hard time liking movies/shows

if I read the book first. So often there have been too many liberties taken with the characters and/or plot. That being said, “Something Wicked This Way Comes” follows the story word for word. One of my fave movies.

I have been known to nix a series too early - heck, I did it with the first episode of Breaking Bad - I was like, WTF was that....then continued when urged to do so by a coworker

I liked most of it, but the supernatural stuff at the end ruined it for me. It felt like the writer didn't want a conventional end to the story, but conventional would have worked for me.

the whole thing. They trashed it for being two movies in one. Interesting drama premise and then kookie supernatural.

I had no idea that her friend from rehab had taken over her body. So at the end it was he who wanted to be with husband.

To me it was an intriguing relationship series until the end. Didn't get all the mind travel. Thought the ending was sick and a lazy way to wrap up a series of complex relationships. Was sitting there at the end saying, you've got to be kidding me.

It sure took a long time to get interesting. But ultimately, I thought it was so so. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.

It was too long through. A lot of “filler material” which IMHO could have been edit out.
