I would just leave and not say anything....I don’t think I’d trust him to do anymore work in your mouth...I’m curious how big the filling was that he did? How many surfaces of the tooth?

I do not trust him.

It was a small cavity on the upper left rear molar.

Could not floss it and went back.

He filed it down or something.

Cannot chew on that side now.

By telling the insurance there is pain, I still have coverage for it.

I think I have to call as two appts. next week.

Maybe I'll leave a message saying tooth hurts and cancelling appointments and won't be back.

Go to the new dentist. Let them call the former dentist to get your records.

Chances are the former dentist will be more than happy to send your records.

If you have work done, you pay. If you have more work done, you pay again. Work comes with a no money back and no freebie guarantee.

As a represented retiree (still pay dues) these are contracts and they don't just go *poof* as much as these sorts would like them to do.

So, I'm not on my own with this one luckily!

Thank you all for a reply.

I got my guts up and left a message canceling and just said we won't be back.

Short and sweet it was.

I wish I had more guts, that's all I can say.
