And here on DU multiple "Progressives" are questioning the story as fishy.

First instinct is to NOT be angry, but question the person who got attacked.

People are so worried about poor Roger and his late night FBI raid. This is much more serious, this stuff has to stop!

It surprises me how many of us who may not even think they have issues may hold some attitudes that are really not cool. Having a lesbian teen with many bi, gay, and trans friends, I have had to reteach myself how to say or approach certain topics...and I'm pretty chill

I am shocked by the vitriol even displayed by these kids' own families: deadnaming them to their face, forcing them to be "normal" to other family members and friends, refusing therapy or even talking about transitioning...so much more, it's sad.
