Unbelievable that they would evict this woman for being LGBT. Props to the speakers who came to her defense.

(34,195 posts)I can't watch a 2 hour video.
Is there a synopsis, a brief summary?
I do usually watch my local city council and police oversight meetings live on Albuquerque TV.

(62,270 posts)A few days later he evicted her. It was the only criteria with which he used to evict her. The LGBT people went there to defend her and ask the local city council to look at LGBT cases when they determine fairness. Not sure how it works there actually. It was happenstance that I found it because I clicked around randomly in that video to see more info on the hurricane and landed directly on her testimony.
If you have the time you can skip to 1:12:30 and listen to her speak. It's only about 3 mins.
