Hello - I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good book (or books) that

examines the history of the Israel/Palestine conflict.

I realize that I am woefully ignorant on this topic, and would like to have a better understanding of this very important area of the world.

Thank you in advance.

Tim

1. A couple good books.

Scars of War, Wounds of Peace: The Israeli–Arab Tragedy (2007) Shlomo ben Ami

Making David Into Goliath: How the World Turned Against Israel (2014) Joshua Muravchik

2. Hi Mosby - Thank you for your reply and suggestions!

I will be heading to the library after work, and will see if any of these are available.

Wishing you well and peace

Tim

3. The General's Son written by Miko Peled, former IDL soldier, grandson of one of Israel's founders,

son of a General during the “war” with Egypt. It is a memoir, but includes what Peled discovered through having access as a general’s son to military archives.
