[font size=3]TORONTO - There was time in the Great White North when dreaming of a white Christmas would almost always be a dream come true.
But there's no guarantee anymore, and senior Environment Canada climatologist Dave Phillips says blame global warming for the growing frequency of green Christmases.
This year, forecasters say unseasonably mild, dry conditions across Canada will keep the snow at bay in most major centres.
The Weather Network is calling for little to no snow this week across the country -- though residents in Quebec's St. Lawrence Valley may see a hint of white on Christmas morning.
