Reading buddies are such a hit at Lowell School.

This year's Kindergartners are working with students in our Explorers Class. The three-year-olds are captivated by the "big kids" and are eager to enjoy the stories. And our readers are working on their decoding, expression, and fluency. A win-win!

the entire 15+ years I worked there. The kids liked it since they didn't have to feel pressure from an adult. Does your school have a focus for each peer lesson and do they keep journals together? My school was called Lowell Mason.
