The microbrews are mostly made by American-owned firms, but a lot of microbrews are made by the large brewers through shell subsidiaries. The large brewers themselves are almost all foreign-owned. If you want to send your money to a brewer with headquarters located somewhere other than the United States, drinking most of the beers listed at that site will do the job.

I can think of one smaller brewery that is definitely American-owned: Yuengling. As of 2012, Yuengling is now the largest U.S.-owned brewery.
