We’ve Taken a Bite Out of Palermo’s (Costco take action info too)
Yesterday we launched a national week of action with events outside Costco stores across the country to make sure Costco keeps the pressure on Palermos to follow through with their commitment to resolve this issue in the right way for its workers and customers.
Because of the tens of thousands of e-mails and dozens of actions that have already taken place at Costco stores, Palermos CEO Giacomo Fallucca reached out to us to try and come to a resolution.
Palermos is scared because you are helping to expose their dirty tactics and motivated Costco, the largest purchaser of its products, to question whether Palermos meets the high standards the company sets for its suppliers.
But we need to keep the pressure up.
Call Costco now at 1-800-220-6000 (dial zero to speak with a customer service representative) and tell the person you speak with you want the company to call on Palermos to reinstate fired workers and recognize our union.
It is more important than ever that we do everything we can to show people are still watching and will not rest until fired workers are reinstated to their jobs and our union is recognized.
Can you help us keep the pressure on Palermos by calling Costco now at 1-800-220-6000 (dial zero to speak with a customer service representative)?
Thank you for all your support.
In Solidarity,
Raul de la Torre

product ever again, the bastards
(will have to see if my supermarket carries it, and alert them, since it IS a union shop)

And Costco is said to be their biggest customer (selling a private label brand of pizza made by Palermo's).
