Venezuela twitter trends tonight after the closing of campaigns:

This is a snapshot of Trends Map Venezuela as I post this thread: http://trendsmap.com/local/venezuela

These are all of the trending mentions that are political in nature that are trending now.

Capriles:

saliente "Departing" or "outgoing." Basically tweets saying that Chavez is to be ousted soon.

hampa Mocking Chavez' comment that the "underworld" is everywhere. Different takes, but the best is the one that compares his "closing act" to the underworld.

llueve It rains it pours commentary about Chavez' closing act.

#lara Self explainatory. Tweets astounded by Capriles' turnout in Barquisimeto.

#TodosAVotar "Now it is our turn." Capriles is affectionately called "The Skinny Guy" or "The Skinny One" or just "Skinny." So many tweets (retweets) refer to him by that name.

humillante Hashtag illustrating the "rollcall" that various Chavista's must call off on when they arrive at the march. Basically attendeding a Chavez event is mandatory if you want to keep your job.

radonski Self-explainatory.

@mariacorinaya People mentioning Maria Corina Machado's pro-Capriles tweets.

miraflores Mostly opposition joking around about Chavez' comment that he wanted to 'reconcile' with the opposition.

Chavez:

hany Tweets comparing Chavez to Hany Kauam and Capriles as 'candies' and cyanide.

kauam Tweets comparing Chavez to Hany Kauam and Capriles as 'candies' and cyanide.

(Note: it's unclear if 'candies' is a homosexual reference here but the chavista's have no problem being homophobes so it wouldn't surprise me.)

majunche Self explainatory.

I will make no comment about who is dominating the trends map at this time.
