By: EFE / SPLL | Monday, 02/12/2018 12:09 PM|

translated from Spanish

02-12-18.- The oil extractions in Venezuela fell last January by 2.8% compared to the previous month and stood at 1.6 million barrels per day, according to data from secondary sources included in the report on the situation of the oil market published today by OPEC.

According to these calculations, used by the group to control the production of its members, the pumping of the South American country fell by 47,000 barrels per day, the biggest drop in all 14 partners of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

In contrast, official data reported directly by Caracas indicate that in January production rose by 9% to 1.7 mbd.

Aporrea is a website dedicated to the memory of Hugo Chavez and all things Chavismo.

Things have got to be really really bad when Aporrea.com is throwing Chavismo under the bus for their wholesale lies.

Chavismo always has someone to blame for their malfeasance and gross incompetence. And Chavismo certainly has their fair share of apologists.

Maybe if the Chavists spent more of their time feeding their people instead of lining their pockets?

The industrialists have abandoned Venezuela. What Chavismo hasn't confiscated, Chavez/Maduro ruined. As a matter of fact, his favorite whippin' boy, Lorenzo Mendoza (Empresas Polar) is about the only thing feeding Venezuelans these days.

Naturally, Maduro could "nationalize" Polar for El Pueblo, but that would result in the same thing that has happened to every other company Chavismo has confiscated. RUIN. Even the moron Maduro knows that he cannot take Polar, as it is "Capitalist benevolence" alone that keeps Polar operating.*

So, tell me more about the VILE industrialists of Venezuela? Or, maybe I can offer you a redacted list of the "vile industries" that have closed/jobs lost/taxes not paid/economy not driven due to Chavismo?

Bosch
Goodyear
Pirelli
Pepsi
Toyota
Proctor and Gamble
Bridgestone
Kimberly Clark**
Nestle
General Motors
Clorox
Ford
Shell
Exxon Mobil
ConocoPhillips
Williams Companies
Helmerich & Payne
Baker Hughes (oil services)
Halliburton (oil services)
Schlumberger (oil services)
Weatherford (oil services)

That brief list doesn't even include the list of the "nationalized" Venezuelan companies (Sidor, Alcasa, Venalum Bauxilum, Ferrominera, etc) aren't producing anything.

*Mendoza owns Polar factories in Venezuela, but he has factories and distribution points all over the Americas. He essentially subsidizes every sack of Harina sold at a loss in Venezuela with profits made elsewhere. Without this sacrifice, Polar would close its doors within 2 weeks, and not a single bag of Harina flour would be manufactured, nor distributed in Venezuela. Maybe this is why about 44% of Venezuelans would vote for this VILE INDUSTRIALIST if he should ever decide to run for El Presidente? Not that Chavismo would allow him to run for Presidente... (The Chavistas aren't THAT stupid.... wait... sure they are!)

**With much hullabaloo, Maduro confiscated Kimberly Clark "for the people" and turned the closed factory over to them, because Kimberly Clark couldn't get raw materials to manufacture anything. Now that El Pueblo owns the factory, they produce... NOTHING! since they can't get raw materials to manufacture anything! The factory has since been stripped down by looters who have sold off anything of value. Another WIN for Chavismo! Chavismo gave the people a big steaming pile of shit. As is their custom.
