Che the racist. Che the authoritarian. Che the psychopathic murderer.

"We're going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing." -- Che Guevara, 1959.

"The n***o is indolent and lazy, and spends his money on frivolities, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent" -- Che Guevara

"Youth must refrain from ungrateful questioning of governmental mandates" -- Che Guevara, 1961

"Hatred is the central element of our struggle! Hatred that is intransigent...hatred so violent that it propels a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him violent and cold- blooded killing machine...We reject any peaceful approach. Violence is inevitable. To establish Socialism rivers of blood must flow! The imperialist enemy must feel like a hunted animal wherever he moves. Thus we'll destroy him! These hyenas are fit only for extermination. We must keep our hatred alive and fan it to paroxysm! The victory of Socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims!" -- Che Guevara, 1966

But those iconic t-shirts are still all the rage...

3. racist, homophobic and anti-Semite

Some of them are from the Motorcycle Diaries.

"The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have maintained their racial purity thanks to their lack of an affinity with bathing, have seen their territory invaded by a new kind of slave: the Portuguese.”

"The episode upset us a little because the poor man, apart from being homosexual and a first-rate bore, had been very nice to us, giving us 10 soles each, bringing our total to 479 for me and 163 1/2 to Alberto."

"The first person we hit on was the mayor, someone called Cohen; we had heard a lot about him, that he was Jewish as far as money was concerned but a good sort."

"Mexicans are a band of illiterate Indians"

5. Your link doesn't dispute the quotes, most from his diary...

...but attempts to explain away Che's racist worldview as "youthful indiscretions"?

How does the author attempt to explain away the FACT that Che was a bloodthirsty murderer, who killed innocent men (including the mentally ill), women and children for the glory of the Revolution?

Who is Mike Gonzalez?

6. Who is Mike Gonzalez?

The Heritage Foundation guy who originally pulled out these quotes to try to smear Che in particular and leftists in general as racist. The guy who Marco Rubio relied on on attacking JZ and Beyonce for going to Cuba. And, whether you knew it or not, YOUR SOURCE.

20. My source was Che's own book, The Motorcycle Diaries.

Another source

Castañeda, Jorge G (1998). Che Guevara: Compañero. pp. 143-144 New York: Random House. ISBN 0-679-75940-9.

to "defend the revolution was to execute its enemies, he (Che) would not be swayed by humanitarian or political arguments"

Che the Benevolent Humanitarian...

7. Because the Politifact link

Includes reams of factual information showing that Che was far from racist, far too much to include without violating site rule, let me just repeat the two words Politifact had for the right wing argument you repeated"

Mostly False

16. The "Mostly False" related to the Marco Rubio quote and how Rubio used it out of context

The quotes are accurate, and that is not in dispute. Most of them come from his own book.

But that doesn't prevent the apologists from defending the scumbag. Even your source acknowledges he was a sadistic murderer.

8. He wanted to spread the revolution to Africa...racist?

Guevara, the beret-wearing guerrilla leader who had led firing squads after the Communist victory in Cuba, had abruptly resigned from his government posts and left Cuba to spread the revolution in Africa and South America.

The link is to that communist paper The Washington Post!

17. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks"

Act III, Scene II of Hamlet

I have never seen the movie, The Motorcycle Diaries. I imagine that it gave a lovely portrayal of Che as a great humanitarian.

The quotes I gave from above were from his book. HE WROTE THE WORDS. HIS WORDS.

So flame away, if it makes you feel better.

24. One thing I have learned quite well on this forum..

... is that offering proof to people who would refuse to believe anyway it is a waste of time.

I have offered the sources of my information. They are factual. I refuse to get into a poop-fling about whether "this source" or "that source" is reputable. The fact remains that the vast majority of Che's worldviews (racist, homophobic, anti-Semetic) are well documented. His apologists exist to diminish or excuse his worldview in order to canonize him as Saint Che.

And the fact remains that he was a psychopath who relished murdering those who he thought stood in the way of his Revolution. No charges. No trial. Just ¡El Paredón! Peasants. Teachers. Women. Children. The mentally ill.

Care to spin that?

25. I am currently downloading the "Motorcycle Diaries" from Audible

It is translated as I am an American (that's what we call us USA citizens) and only know one language

Joke (not)

What do you call someone who knows 3 languages? Trilingal

What do you call someone who knows 2 languages? Bilingal

What do you call someone who knows 1 language? American (that's what we call us USA citizens)

And to think I laughed at that joke when I was 7 years old! Shame!

29. Funny quotes! Does the author live in Miami?

They've been foaming at the mouth trying to destroy his reputation, just as a gusano a-hole from Miami was there to help trap him in Bolivia.

How many right-wing Miami fascists are loved and revered all over the world? Let's see, Orlando Bosch, or Luis Posada Carriles, who were some of the worst terrorists in the world? Orlando Bosch was temporarily banned from entering the US by US Acting Attorney General Whitley, who called him a monstrous terrorist, until George H. W. Bush, Jeb Bush, and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen working together finally got him admitted back into the states, anyway, DESPITE what the law said.

Mass murdering a plane full of people from Cuba and elsewhere in mid-flight on an Cubana airliner, Bosh and Carriles were safely tucked away in the US with their alibis after they had their henchmen plant the bomb in a bathroom on the plane and escape before the plane left Venezuela.

Some of those passengers blown to bits and retrieved in pieces from the ocean were Cuban youth athletes from Cuba's fencing team, returning from a meet where they had won some medals, some of them only young teenagers.

Right-wing stinking Cuban fascist terrorists.

Turned Miami into what the FBI labeled "America's Terror Capital" several years ago, with their continuous bombing of people they suspected of being pro-Cuba, or pro-Cuban dialigue, or simply other Miami a-holes they hated. They loved to bomb people's cars, like a beloved Miami radio host who supported establishing relations with Cuba, blew his legs totally off for his efforts.

Nothing is too small, dirty, evil for the cowardly bomb meisters from Miami who are always safely hidden when the bombs go off.

Your quotes are hilarious.

What is hilarious is the efforts put forth by the political extremists to excuse Che's murderous behavior and hate filled mentality.
