1. I looked for this years ago to prove to a repug relative

that Kennedy admitted he was duped by the hawks in his cabinet, told Bobby "how could I have been so stupid?" and admitted in a tv interview that he was wrong to do it.

Dems will admit to mistakes and try to learn from them.

Repugs will never admit they are wrong or made a mistake. They double-down on them and just invade another country to deflect. They certainly don't take time to reflect and learn.

3. Actually, she did admit to one mistake.

When a local repug was running for re-election, she let him use her office for phoning supporters. Since I worked for her, I was there while they were calling people and saying they were "from the NRA". I couldn't believe my ears. Later, that repug was arrested for a drunken fight involving his wife and his girlfriend outside a bar.
