Austrian President Arrives to Bolivia
La Paz, Oct 1 (Prensa Latina) President of Austria, Heinz Fisher, arrived at dawn today to Bolivia for an official visit during which he will receive the highest award granted by the country, the Cóndor de Los Andes.
Fisher, who was welcomed by Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca, received the honors corresponding to his position, and a "chuspa" (kind of hand woven bag similar to the one given to Pope Francis on his arrival to Bolivia last month).
The Austrian head of state will meet with his Bolivian counterpart Evo Morales and will be received in honor session by the Plurinational Legislative Assembly.
According to his program, Fisher will receive the Cóndor de los Andes for the cooperation of his country in the development of Bolivia and the help given personally to Evo Morales, in July 2013, when he was victim of an air blockade from several European countries.
