Venezuela marking Colombian homes with a "D" for demolition

Some accused the Venezuelan armed forces of forcing them out of their homes and destroying their houses.

Referring to instances where Venezuelan security forces marked houses for demolition by spray painting them with the letter "D", Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos said: "Marking houses to later demolish them is totally unacceptable and reminds one of bitter episodes in history which cannot be allowed to recur."

The current Maduro-approved line is "the imperial capitalists are intentionally producing so much of their own oil that they don't want ours any more...intentionally driving prices down to damage socialistic purity"

They have magnificent tourism potential... they could be an agricultural powerhouse... and their better-educated population than most countries in the area could easily support a modern manufacturing/exporting segment (with convenient ports).

But they can't do any of those things because their rulers are clueless when it comes to basic economics (whether "socialist" or "capitalist" or somewhere in between), are deeply corrupt, and are entirely incapable of supporting foundational governance practices that could allow foreign investment.

People with half a brain won't fall for your attempts to try to spin this into another bullshit US conspiracy theory. It's kinda getting tiresome to hear it over and over again from the likes of you and the other ideologically blinded individuals in this forum.
