Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumWould you tattoo a politician's image on your body?
Apparently, some people are doing that, and I have to say that I really don't get it. I love my wife a great deal, and I've had lovers that I have loved deeply as well. However, never once have I ever wanted to tattoo their name -- much less their visage -- anywhere on my body. So, please can someone explain to me why someone would get a tattoo of a politician?

I could possibly understand a campaign logo for historic campaigns. No names or faces though.

(25,183 posts)No tattoos - not my kids' names, not any departed pet's paw prints, not our anniversary date, no flowers, shooting stars or butterflies. I can't even think of one I would want, even if i were so inclined.

to the poll. Actually I have an almost pathological aversion to needles of any kind, so I would never willingly get any tattoo.

(7,484 posts)I don't go outside this area though, because I try not to have any bad blood. Some of them may not make an effort to be civil, so it's best just to avoid them all.

(217 posts)I get them to signify important moments in my life.
However I rarely see a tattoo of a person that doesn't look bizarre and creepy. I'll stick with my symbolic tattoos in locations that can be covered as needed.

(71,425 posts)lots of tat artists are artists in name only. they try to copy photos, but if you dont have the experience of drawing from life, you really cant get it right.

(217 posts)Artistically speaking it's well designed and colored.
I've seen some fantastic portrait tattoos in magazines, but any that I've seen in person has been cringe-worthy.

(7,484 posts)Still wouldn't ink up my skin for it, but I like the details that went into it. It's not overly done with too many shadows to cover up mistakes or too many details in things like the hair. Reminds me a bit of Manga.
