I was disappointed to read today that if Bernie does not win, he says he...

...will not endorse Hillary unless she gets on board with with certain parts of HIS beliefs and platform.
This makes him seem more like a third party candidate and not a true democrat if he refuses to endorse the winner unless he gets his way. Please don't let us go back to the days of Ross Perot and Ralph Nader and end up with a Trump or Cruz presidency.
That is just my take on his comment.

3. He never said this. Listen to the interviews.

Just this morning he repudiated this on Meet The Press.

And I hope it is ok that I stepped into your group. I am only here to correct misinformation, not to belittle any of you or your candidate.

7. I have, yes. I want people on both sides to argue passionately, but accurately.

I don't often, I admit. I have more time than usual today. But I do correct in the Sanders group more than here, and also sometimes tell my fellow Sanders supporters they're being rude, such as last night when a few Hillary supporters congratulated Sanders supporters on his victories, and some of the Sanders supporters did not respond graciously, IMO.

I also chose to correct this time because no one else had.

I won't be responding anymore. To do so would be disruptive.

13. I corrected misinformation in the Bernie Group last week

and one of the group hosts blocked me. I had never been in this group until I got blocked over there. But I do know that misinformation is condoned over there.

4. If he does not fair with the DNC primary it will not get easier.

I will vote for the DNC nominee, having a Republican president will not advance progressive ideas and this goes for everyone who is progressive.

8. The last proof that superdelegates needed NOT to commit to him

Like Trump he attacked dissatisfied voters who know only to scream but not to offer concrete, reasonable solutions. And... like Trump he entered the race without any thought that he could win. Only to satisfy their egos that they can.

In the very low possibility that he wins, the nomination, at least, his supporters will be the first to register their disappointment, on this pages. Just as they did.... with Obama. eight years ago.

9. Bernie and his delegate would be foolish not to make demands at the convention

That's how it works. You negotiate a happy ending at the convention and get as much for your side as you can.

11. He can demand himself right out of a decent speaking spot at the convention.

Bernie has stated many, many times that he agrees with Hillary on many, many issues. He has also stated that there are real differences between them.

It makes sense for Hillary to say that Sanders fans should vote for her based on everything they have in common. It doesn't make sense for her to change her positions on issues where she and Sanders disagree. She needs to represent the ideas that she presented during the primaries, ideas that gained her the win over Sanders. If the majority preferred Sanders' ideas over Hillary's, they would have voted for his ideas as a majority.

If Sanders makes too big a stink about this he'll find himself assigned to a 10-minute speaking slot at 10am on the first day of the convention.

12. ^This.

The convention is still the launching platform for the nominee and if he's making a stink about superdelegates if Hillary has a pledged delegate lead, then he's going to be shuffled off the stage after the delegations vote. He only gets concessions if he comes along willingly at some point and starts being conciliatory. No one is giving him a prime time spot to bludgeon the nominee and the party. Not to mention while he may influence the platform, his role in party debates is dependent upon him unifying with the party at some point. Otherwise, he's going to enter the Senate, while the head of his own nominal party, with few folks to back him up. I doubt Elizabeth Warren would even go along with a revolt of sorts. He'd be a pariah.

15. Unfortunately, this has been Sen Sander's MO.

He says he didn't vote on a number of issues like the Amber Alert bill, Gun Control Bill, ACA Bill, because they didn't represent everything he stands for, or had minor amendments he was against. With Bernie it's all or nothing. Throw the baby out with the bath water. He does not know how to compromise. So I don't see him or some of his more rabid supporters moving even an inch toward compromise.

19. Your fears are legitimate. I've said from the beginning, that all these Independents that BS has...

drawn into our nominating process, might just as easily vote for Trump. Many of his supporters, as with Nader, seem much more interested in blowing up the Democratic party as opposed to building it. I would even venture to say they care more about destroying the party from within than they care about the candidate, BS is just the vessel they've chosen.
