Bernie Sanders blocks President Obama’s FDA nominee in retaliation for Obama’s pro-Hillary stanceYesterday President Obama gave an interview in which he listed off the strengths of Hillary Clinton and the weaknesses of Bernie Sanders, as a clear way of taking sides in the 2016 democratic primary contest. We’ve all been waiting to see how Bernie would respond to the blow, whether he’d accept it graciously or ignore it or get into a war with the President. One day later, we have our answer. Sanders now says he’s using his position in the Senate to suddenly block Obama’s FDA nominee.

I think this is a bad move. Why would you want to go to war with the head of the party before the first votes are cast? I hope the president calls him out (by name) on it. |
