While it's awesome to have the first black President, the ugliness that was unleashed by the racists and haters cast a real pall on it. Really embarrassing for America, but the fact that Obama has still be able to overcome it is quite a credit to the man.

I have to say that having a woman President in this country is going to bring out all sorts of ugly misogyny against Hillary, and naturally, a lot of it will be based on religious bullshit. I'm afraid a ton of Neanderthal men in this country could handle a (black) man as President, but a woman? That goes against GOD!!
