20. I've never gone to see a politician speak.

I've gone to lots of political protests though. I've been a clinic escort. But I have never gone to a rally just to hear a politician speak. I never thought it was a good use of my time.

But I vote. Every time. I have never missed any election, not even the local odd runoff, etc.

21. I would have gone to see Obama speak but he was never where I was.. I did see

Kerry speak in Manchester, NH on 11/2/2004.. but he wasn't whining about how bad the Dem party is.

Good on you voting in all the elections.. I just got into it in 2000. I voted in the Presidential elections before but not all the others.

22. By the way, in CA, my County Registrar of Voters lists every time you have voted there.

And it shows whether your current mail-in ballot has been received or not. I just checked and it says my ballot (with my vote for Hillary!) has already been received AND COUNTED!

Not sure if every CA county does that but it is pretty cool of Orange County to do that.

23. It's awesome and important they do that.. with all the things that have gone

wrong with voting... it's comforting to know our vote has counted!

Looks like all the counties.. how great for California..

Is your absentee ballot being counted? Californians have new ways to find out

Under SB 589, county elections officials are required to create a system allowing voters to verify whether their vote-by-mail ballot was counted and more importantly, why or why not. However, voters will bear the burden of seeking out that information.

“This legislation will ensure that voters whose ballots were rejected have the ability to fix the problem for future elections,” said Senator Jerry Hill (D-San Mateo), author of the bill.

25. I live in Iowa, it's hard to avoid rallies

Obama's rallies were the best - surprisingly ran into my mom and her cousins at one because they wanted to see history being made. Now they are excited about Hillary making history 'before they die'.

BTW - They are in their late 80's and feeling fine most days.

11. And if there's a blizzard on voting day ....

This year, three different campaign workers called to ascertain my intentions for the Democratic primary. For the third worker, I summarized all conversations to say that I was voting for Mrs. Clinton, and couldn't come to a meeting, but had sent in a letter to the editor, and that I intended to be there when the polls opened. If everybody else decided to vote first, and the parking lot was full, I could park at the apartment complex next door to the polling place, and easily walk over. And if we had had a late spring blizzard, I could have WALKED to my polling place.

I have voted, if my count is correct, three times for Bill Clinton, and so far, four times for Mrs. Clinton, and I intend to keep on doing that until they swear her in, dammit. And if we have an early season blizzard on 11/8, I can still WALK to my polling place. Any questions?
