Related: About this forumNevada - what am I missing?
I work 16 hour days on the weekends (cause I'm an oligarch, dontcha know) and have not been able to get the story about Nevada and haven't had the time to research.
But just quickly -
Didn't Hillary WIN NEVADA?!?!?
How can she steal something she already won???

(1,580 posts)NEVADa caucaus is three tiers. Election day where you pick delegates to go to county. Bernie out manovered her delegates in the April county caucauses. See go blindly what happened at clark county convention for more details. He gained delegates who went to state where the shit hit the fan when she regained delegates. Apparently over 60 of the Berns delegates didn't survive credentials. Theres a link about on this page.

(3,517 posts)So 60 bernie voters changed their party and wonder why they can't be delegates? Crazy.
The comment section is hilarious too.

(3,231 posts)She can be accused of stealing something that she already won - and the downright nastiness - It just sucks.

(15,366 posts)Hillary did win Nevada at the caucus in March.
Some Bernie supporters have tried to steal it TWICE since then, once at the county convention and again at the state convention. Yes, twice.
But they failed ... and made total fools of themselves in the process. But that isn't their version, of course.
If this experience doesn't prove that caucuses should be replaced by primaries, I don't know what will. But some Bernie supporters have demonstrated that they are essentially rule-challenged. Those "supporters" are libertarians who want only to disrupt unless they get their way.

As I've said elsewhere, some of them have their own agendas and aren't about to take the advice of even their own candidate.

(32,342 posts)goes beyond support for Sanders now. I honestly don't know what the aims are at this point, it just seems to be to cause instability and provides a focus for the disgruntled.

(25,456 posts)Desperation does funny things to people. I honestly don't know if it's created this "real" Bernie or if he's always been like this or if it's a combination of the two.
One article I read from 1983 quoted one of his colleagues saying that he's very confrontational and that it would come back to bite him one day. A little prophetic, that.
