Sanders is way behind in delegates and so had to swing for the fences. That is a risky strategy and here it did not pay off

He just cratered on the gun issue. He still seemed clueless about breaking up big banks. And the moderators got Sanders to promise to release his full 2014 tax returns on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hillary looked presidential and kept offering plans, as always. She pounded him with the point that "describing the problem is a lot easier than trying to solve it.”

It was clear that Sanders only knows how to complain about something, not how to fix it.
