2022 will be the year Democrats regain control of the US Senate.
In 2020- Democrats will have a net gain of 2 seats by losing AL(Jones-D) and gaining AZ(McSally-R), CO(Gardner-R), and NC(Tillis-R).
In 2022- if a Democrat is in the White House. Democrats need a net gain of 1 seat. Democrats will lose AZ(McSally-R wins in a 2022 rematch) and pick up PA(Toomey-R) and WI(OPEN Johnson-R).
