What to do, what to do? I finally went with Putin seeing Palin from his porch. I could just imagine each of them standing with binoculars trained.

Although I was charmed with the idea of President Obama putin the squeeze on Putin.

I liked 'Younger, taller, more hair, better looking' but a lot of people went with that. As for Putin watching Palin, I've got a lot of pictures of him near the chain of islands that connect Russia and Alaska. It could happen, you know!

Palin is going to energize the Conservative base and helps to esunre the GOP continues towards Conservatism but that's another story for another blogpost. And whatever they could think of to discount the man and not listen to him.

People were down to earth and had seen real suffering, not this first world angst, but the real thing. They were much more grounded back then and looked to ideas and character instead of the slick marketing and cheap thrills of today.

I hope we get back to the respecting of person's mind like that of Obama or Kerry and learning, even if not agreeing, just listening and thinking for a minute, not doing this media trained reaction. And soon.
