I keep getting kicked off du and other sites that I used to be able to stay logged in on.
I got a message from du a week or so ago that something about cookies, but I ignored it. Now I think maybe I have accidentally set my puter not to accept cookies.
If so, I do not know how to change that or even where it is in settings. I posted this in Community Help, but no one seemed to know. Any advice is welcome.

4. I assume that would be in settings? I am really not so great with computers except for using
them for the most basic website access, surfing etc.

6. If you are using Safari and have Democratic Underground up...
look to the right of the URL bar and you should see three icons. The one on the far right should be
one square on top of another. Click that and you should see an option for PRIVATE at the top of the screen. Try toggling that off, hit done, full exit du and safari and then go back in again. It should safe your log on this time. |

3. You're not alone
That happened to spouse's iphone this weekend. Drove her nuts.
I didn't have that problem on the iphone, but I have that problem sometimes on my windows desktop when windows updates. |

7. Disable, Enable Cookies in Internet Explorer.
Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools button. Next click Internet Options and select the Privacy tab. Under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies, and then click Apply.
