I have a DVD movie video that is NOT copy-protected, I swear...

How do I burn a copy to another disc? The easiest way possible, please. I am using MS Vista.

I can't find anything online, or in books. I think that's because no one wants to deal with the possible liability. Can't think of any other reason.

Thanks in advance. I've been wanting to provide a copy to a friend, but I'm stumped. Yes, I am a

I haven't burned a DVD for a long time. Generally I just use handbrake to make a smaller high quality H.264 video.

Here's a link about copying DVDs:

I've used the DVD Shrink / DVD Rip / DVD43 tools on Windows machines, but not recently.

The problem with DVD's is that many movies have to be compressed further if you want to fit them on an ordinary DVD-R disk and the quality suffers, especially when using automatic settings.

There's some art to creating a good DVD copy.

If it's a dual layer disk, you'll have to use a dual layer blank.
