Where do I find the 'saved' Firefox update?

I have had computer trouble all day plus I keep getting a pop-up telling me that I have an outdated version of Firefox.
I clicked on -update now- and get a box that offers me a chance to cancel or save.
OK, I saved.
Where the heck is it? I'd like to complete this process but cannot find where to go.

In addition, I am now getting pup-ups that I have not had for years. Ready to scream. Ran Spybot and got rid of some ad-ware and malware but still getting pop-ups.

Can you help?
Thanks from this old timer.

2. In Firefox click on tools->options->general tab and you will see a dropdown in lower half

showing download location. You can also change it to some other location, if you want to.
