1. Thanks for this tip!
I always thought everyone knew this who used Windows machines. But then my older sister , who has been using a computer for fifteen years and never knew this until I told her last month, so now she learned it from me.

2. This is for Firefox.
Other browsers may need to use Edit > Find, from the drop down menu.

6. On my copy of Internet Explorer 9 a box opens at the top under the toolbar
On my copy of Chrome (not sure what version), same thing, a box opens at the top under the tabs.
CTRL-F also brings up the search box in Adobe Reader - at the top right. |
