Windows 10 - how do I know if it will fit on my hard drive?

My laptop is about 4 years old and I don't remember the size of the hard drive. I'm not going to rush into it, I'll wait and see how it goes for the braver folks out there. Thanks

It expands out upon installation to, I think, 20 gigs ? Unless your hard drive is really small (under 40 gigs), you should be fine. If you upgrade, you'll have a large Windows.old folder (several gigabytes, I forget how big) in addition to the Windows 10 installation. If you keep the Windows.old folder, you can always roll back the Windows 10 installation.

Click Start button. Go to the My Computer icon, click it. Right click your C drive icon (the usual main drive). That should tell you how big your hard drive is.
