Yahoo hijacked my "new tab" screen for both my Firefox and Google Chrome browsers.

I have tried the "about:config" but found "browser.newtab.url" to be "about:newtab" as I think it should be.

2. That site sends me to the internet to do a search. Besides my start up page is cool, it's only when

I open a new tab that I get the yahoo page.

3. Could be you inadvertently installed a "Conduit' variant

When you're on the Yahoo page that comes up with new tab, is there a RESTORE link on the bottom right? Try clicking on that/

In addition, you might want to scan for malware. Malwarebytes should help: https://www.malwarebytes.org/

Before trying that, see if you have an extension called "Default Tab." If so, try disabling it.
