UK Parties: The Independent Group for Change

Well, seeing as they are still going and have 5 MP's they might as well have their own thread. Even though I don't expect them to have very much impact at all.

Our primary duty as a Party is to put the best interests of the people of this country first and foremost. Our aim is to pursue policies that are evidence-based, not led by ideology, taking a long-term perspective to the challenges of the twenty-first century in the national interest, rather than locked in the old party political interests of the twentieth century.

We aim to recognise the value of healthy debate, show tolerance towards different opinions and seek to reach across outdated divides and build consensus to tackle Britainís problems.
