Wynne bows to elite as regular Ontarians ignored

When I presented to the Ontario government this week during budget hearings, I got a few blank stares when I talked about Bernie Sanders.
Bernie, I said, is so popular because he is tapping into a growing awareness in America that what ordinary people think doesn’t matter.
Right here in Ontario we have the same problem, and if you need an example, look no further than Hydro One.
On the government’s budget consultation website, not selling Hydro One is the second-most popular idea there. Yet the government is doing it anyway because Premier Kathleen Wynne is ignoring what ordinary people think.
She bows to whatever the elite class says, and will let them control the broad themes of the coming provincial budget.
