Mayor Rob Ford should be fired, demonstrators say

The wrong person was fired from City Hall.

That was the message delivered by about 20 demonstrators outside City Hall Saturday, saying Mayor Rob Ford should have been given the pink slip instead of former TTC chief general manager Gary Webster.

“I know the mayor can’t be fired, but if anyone should be fired here, it’s Rob Ford,” organizer Larry Peloso said.

Webster was fired without just cause on Tuesday by Ford allies in what’s been criticized by other councillors as a politically-motivated abuse of power. The veteran TTC manager was axed for failing to help the mayor mount a case for a subway extension on Sheppard Ave. and a longer tunnel on the east end of the Eglinton LRT.

And ford is an ignorant fool, determined on pushing his agenda through. To do it, he's been overriding council.
