NDP leader Adrian Dix is now the top choice to take over the reins of government, according to the latest Angus Reid opinion poll, which also shows the New Democrats have widened their lead over the Liberals to 14 percentage points in voter preference.

B.C. Conservative leader John Cummins, the choice of 8 per cent, and Jane Sterk, the preferred premier for 3 per cent of those surveyed, trailed far behind. Twenty-five per cent said they weren’t sure, while 16 per cent chose “none of [the four leaders].
