Blankets for Homeless Veterans (National Day of Service Veterans and Military Families)Jan.24,2013

Help Milwakee Homeless Veterans Initiative to keep people warm on these cold nights and days. On any given night in Milwaukee, 300-400 veterans are on the streets and as an organization we care for people through food, clothing, household goods when they get a home, and outreach in the community. As we reach out and attempt to help, our first need is often a blanket, maybe warm socks to keep those on the streets safe from the cold. Bring a clean blanket(s) to our location at 55th & Greenfield Avenure at St. John's Evengelical Church Basement on Thursday. Our breakfast is on Thursdays from 8am to 10am and someone is always onsite until 3:00pm. If you can not make this day, our food pantry operates 8am to 10am on Tuesdays, and someone is always onsite until 3:00pm.

Time: Thursday, January 24, 2013 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST
