Republicans in the state Senate have chosen Scott Fitzgerald as their leader again.
Fitzgerald, a Juneau Republican, served as Senate majority leader during most of the last two-year session. He lost the post after Democrats seized control of the chamber in Junes recall elections.
Republicans re-captured the majority in Tuesdays elections, however. They caucused on Thursday to pick their leaders and unanimously elected Fitzgerald to his old position...

The Republicans control every part of of the Wisconsin State government apart from the Office of the Secretary of State of Wisconsin.
And we all know that they are going to use that power to seriously f**k us up! It's just a matter of when it starts.

(7,524 posts)6. I hate to say it but it will probably take 10 years to straighten us out. First we take back the....
Gov. Then in 2020 we can veto the next round of gerrymandering and get back to even.
Then get back the House or Senate.
Till then we are probably fucked.
The 2010 election is going to haunt us for the next 25 years I am afraid.
