Joel Kleefisch, our Lieutenant Governors husband, will not seek re-election for his assembly seat.

He’s using the Paul Ryan “the children need me” excuse.

Presumably more than the Assembly salary of $50,950/yr plus per diems for going to Madison of $157 for overnight and $78.50 for a day visit. (His wife makes $77,552.) Perhaps they decided they might need a source of income after the November election.
