I feel very confident that the Assembly Republican position is going to be pretty closely aligned with the governors plan, Vos said.
But Sen. Dale Schultz, R-Richland Center, said in his conversations with about 200 constituents over the past week since the surplus was announced, he hasnt heard anyone clamoring for more tax cuts.
Dont you see through these election year tricks? We just want you to balance the budget, Schultz said in summarizing what hes heard from voters. Im looking for a serious plan to get rid of the structural deficit.
Schultz is Wisconsin's best Republican, having put himself between Walker's henchmen and the People on several occasions. Thank you Dale.

(18,964 posts)..there was a scene in the great Russian propaganda film "The Battleship Potemkin" were the sailors finally had enough and rebelled over rotten borsch...the captain gathered the crew on deck ...the officers and petty officers on one side and the crew on the other..he asked "Who liked their Borsch?!" and the officers and petty officers quickly raised their hands to curry favor with the captain...
....Dale Shultz doesn't like Walker's rotten borsch budget....but Voss and his puppets are raising their hands hoping to be rewarded with campaign cash and "personal appearances" with Lord Walker himself.
This is so sickening
It's transparent only to those who will look...

He will be remembered for serving Wisconsin with dignity and sensitivity when few in his party did.
