Seattle nurse to serve on Biden-Harris COVID-19 advisory board
SEATTLE – A nurse from Seattle has been selected to join President-elect Joe Biden and vice-president elect Kamala Harris’ COVID-19 advisory board.
Biden made the announcement on Saturday.
Jane Hopkins is a nurse who specializes in mental health. According to the Biden-Harris transition team, Hopkins has worked as a bedside nurse for over 20 years, most recently for 12 years at Harborview Medical Center and Snoqualmie Hospital.
Hopkins currently serves as the Executive Vice President with SEIU Healthcare 1199 NW and she serves on the Washington State’s COVID task force and Safe Start Advisory Board
