Trump says 'domestic terrorists' and 'ugly anarchists' have overrun Seattle and tells 'radical left

President Donald Trump has demanded that Seattle officials immediately regain control of a six-block zone and police station that have been taken over by armed George Floyd protesters who are demanding the the city's police department and courts be dissolved.

'Radical Left Governor [of Washington, Jay Inslee] and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before,' Trump tweeted late on Wednesday.

'Take back your city NOW. If you don't do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped [sic] IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!' he continued. 'Domestic Terrorists have taken over Seattle, run by Radical Left Democrats, of course. LAW & ORDER!'

It followed astonishing developments in Seattle, where protesters have established what they call the 'Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,' or CHAZ, setting up barricades and armed checkpoints and declaring that police are not allowed inside the zone.

Armed protesters have been spotting manning checkpoints where they check identification and frisk people at entrances to the zone.

Police say they have received complaints that protesters are demanding cash to enter the zone, as well as 'protection fees' from businesses under their control.

Seattle Police Assistant Chief Deanna Nollette said at a press conference on Wednesday that, while Washington is an open carry state where firearms are allowed, it is a crime to use them to threaten or intimidate others.

She urged anyone who was subjected to demands by protesters to call 911, describing their alleged behavior as extortion.

However, police sources say that the department is now only responding to priority calls of a violent crime in progress, and it is unclear whether they would be able to do more than take a report over the phone.

Anti-police protesters disputed Nollette's description of what was happening inside the so-called autonomous zone.

'This could literally not be less true. It's incredibly open and peaceful in the CHAZ. The businesses that are open are selling flowers, turning their parking lots into med tents, putting supportive signs in their windows,' one person tweeted.

A reporter for KIRO-FM was granted entry to the CHAZ on Tuesday, and said that free food and medical aid was available for demonstrators on every corner.

Some food and supplies were also distributed to the homeless population in the surrounding area, and protesters were organizing a garbage collection for Wednesday, the reporter said.

However, other reports on social media indicated that not everything was unfolding harmoniously within the CHAZ.

Some claimed that rapper Raz Simone had established himself as a 'warlord' within the CHAZ, and was patrolling with armed men.

On Wednesday, video emerged that showed Simone and several other men confronting another man within the CHAZ, accusing him of tagging over someone else's graffiti.

'We are the police of this community now!' one member of the Simone's entourage is heard telling the man, who shrugs them off and continues tagging the side of a building.

2. That was a good one !

This- On Tuesday night, around 300 protesters teporarily took over Seattle City Hall, carrying Black Lives Matter banners and calling for Mayor Durkan to stand down, chanting 'Durkan must go!'

The group was led by Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, who unlocked the building and welcomed the protesters inside.

Footage shared on social media showed demonstrators giving impassioned speeches, saying calls for an end to systemic racism and police brutality following Floyd's death are 'making history'.

Sawant - a staunch critic of the mayor - demanded Durkan step down and blamed her for the 'violence and brutality' of cops against protesters.

'If Mayor Durkan refuses to step aside, it will be the responsibility of the City Council to remove her, by introducing articles of impeachment,' Sawant said last week.

Don't know much about Sawant and don't like what I see of her.

District 3
Council Member Kshama Sawant estimates her net worth at $490,000 and list an income from both her city council position and as a political organizer for Socialist Alternative, her political party, which pays her between $10,000 and $25,000 a year. Sawant owns a home worth between $200,000 and a million dollars and is married to Calvin Priest, who works for an organization called 15 Now.

Sawant said she would only take $40,000 of the salary and donate the rest, but came under fire after the blog SCC Insight reported that she donated portions of her salary to Socialist Alternative and 15 Now, the two organizations that her family gets an income from.

bit of an opportunist or so it seems.

3. This doesn't look good

Dori: Kshama Sawant is a con artist
APRIL 27, 2018 AT 4:52 PM

In terms of political corruption, we are as bad as any city in the country has ever been.

An independent citizen journalist recently posted on his website, sccinsight.com, some hidden truths about Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant’s finances.

RELATED: Where is Kshama Sawant’s decency?

When Kshama Sawant first got elected to the Seattle City Council, she pledged that she would only accept an ordinary worker’s salary, $40,000 per year, and would give the rest of her salary away. How noble.

Now that she has updated her filings, I want you to see what a fraud this “caring socialist” is. I want you to hear how a person who pledged to live on an ordinary worker’s salary finances her life at a much higher level than the ordinary worker. She lives in a house that is worth between $800,000 and $900,000 and has over a half-million in equity in her house. Yeah, she’s part of that “proletariat.”

But what does she do with the money she gives away? First of all, let’s talk about her husband. She got rid of the six-figure Microsoft guy — I guess it doesn’t look too good to decry the rich when you’re married to a Microsoftie. So she’s now married to a guy named Calvin Priest. Priest has what is described as “an undefined relationship” with an organization called 15 Now — an organization dedicated to raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour. Fifteen Now is not registered with the FEC or IRS as a political group, so there’s no paper trail there.

Last year, Sawant gave a total of about $25,000 to 15 Now and Socialist Alternative.

Let’s talk about what those groups do for her. Sawant and her husband have had over $13,000 worth of travel paid for by … drumroll … Movement for the 99 Percent and Socialist Alternative. So she gives money to Socialist Alternative and they pay for her and her husband to fly all around the country. Well that’s odd.

Sawant’s husband apparently works for Socialist Alternative, where he last year made between $10,000 and $25,000. Sawant gives $13,800 to Socialist Alternative, and Socialist Alternative pays for her and her husband to fly all around the country, and they give a salary between $10,000 and $25,000 to her husband.

So the money Kshama Sawant “gives” to Socialist Alternative comes right back to Kshama Sawant. That’s a pretty handy little relationship there.

Socialist Alternative, which is no longer a nonprofit, paid for Sawant and her husband to go to Minnesota and represent them at a conference. This is all, by the way, to do with her building her personal brand as a firebrand socialist, not to do with her being a Seattle City Councilmember.

So that’s what this kind, generous philanthropist is doing with the money she claims to give away. I’m not saying this is illegal — she is well within her rights. I’m simply showing what a phony she is, pure and simple. She’s a con artist. She deceives people and lies to them.

Sawant has a lot of dopey people following her around, cheering for her as some socialist icon. But really, she is all about herself.
