7 total: 2 more guilty pleas entered in Reagor Dykes financial fraud
Two more former Reagor Dykes Auto Group employees pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud Friday morning in Amarillo federal court.
Seven total former employees have now pleaded guilty to taking part in multi-million dollar fraud schemes at the auto group.
Pepper Laray Rickman, former accounting controller at Reagor Dykes Plainview, and Sherri Lynn Wood, office manager at Reagor Dykes Auto Co. LP in Plainview, admitted the auto group participated in a fraudulent floor plan scheme, states a news release from the U.S. Attorneys office.
Employees submitted loan applications to Ford Motor Credit Co. using vehicle identification numbers for cars that had already been sold. The illegally-obtained funds were then used to cover other expenses, court documents state. Funds were transferred through wire.
