Gohmert draws GOP challenger for 2018 race



President Donald Trump had not yet butted heads with the House Freedom Caucus when Renee Culler began laying plans to replace Rep. Louie Gohmert with a more loyal Trump ally — herself.

Trump was Renee Culler's top choice to get the GOP nomination for the office while there were still 16 candidates.

"I think he's doing a fantastic job," she said of the president. "Trump was my pick from the very beginning."

Culler was touring part of the 12-county First District of Texas last week with her husband, Anthony, and the couple's four home-schooled daughters, seeking early support in a bid for the March 2018 Republican primary.

ON EDIT: Googled her and it appears she and her husband are pissed at Gohmert for not stepping in to stop the foreclosure of their property. This is personal.
