Perry's security bill for presidential run grows

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - State security agents who protected Gov. Rick Perry as he crisscrossed the country running for president have filed for an additional $104,000-plus in backlogged travel expenses.

That raises Texas taxpayers' cost of Perry's failed White House bid to at least $3.7 million.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported Friday spending about $104,000 on airfare, food, fuel, lodging and other travel expenses as it protected the governor between September and January.

That's all he has ever done. Man's never made a dime nor done an hour's work nor been of the slightest benefit to any animal on the planet.

He's made sure there'll never be another Aggie governor.

And I'm class of '75. Imagine what strangers think.
